CU Boulder CTD Student and Track and Cross Country Athlete
I am currently a 3rd year student at the University of Colorado: Boulder studying Creative Technology and Design.
What is Creative Technology and Design (CTD)?
The CTD degree at CU Boulder focuses learning by doing and using a variety of technology tools to create digital artifacts.
Coursework:
- Software Development Methods and Tools: Was introduced to a ton of standard development technologies including Node.JS, Docker, shell Scripting and more
- Data Structures: Learned common types of data structures in C++ including linked lists, graphs, stacks, and queues.
- Image: Learned Adobe Photoshop/Affinity Photo for image manipulation and graphic design.
- Web: Developed skills in HTML/CSS/JavaScript for website development.
- Object: Took a dive into the world of physical computing. Built various projects with Arduino boards.
- Form: Used Autodesk Fusion 360 to create and 3D print models to build an Among Us world within a locker.
- Tiny Games: I am building small scale video games within tight constraints. Currently using technologies such as Flickgame, Bitsy, and Twine.
- Sound: I am learning the basics of digital sound composition using Ableton Live
- Motion: I am developing skills in animation using tools such as Adobe After Effects.
